about us

We make films.

Minttu Maari Mäntynen

I was born in Helsinki, and have lived in Scotland for the past twelve years, despite sometimes missing winters with snow and a good sauna at our summer cabin.

I have a handknitted background in philosophy and literature studies, stills photography and design and I've worked as a cinematographer for past eight years across drama and documentary.

My own work is largely experimenting with visual narrative structures and forms, some of which has taken me travelling to festivals and galleries across Europe, Canada, Brazil and North America.
