The Bath House

The Bath House

Henna-Riikka Halonen was commissioned by the Collective Gallery in Edinburgh to re-imagine a lost Russian constructivist play. Minttu was the DoP on the shoot that lasted two unusual nights in the Commonwealth Pool diving towers. Scott operated the second camera and the work was edited and finished inhouse at Pulkka.

The Bath House was recommended in the Guardian 'Best art shows to see' and is continuing the exhibition rounds in London and Berlin.

Marching Plague

We travelled to Lewis to cover the arts performance by a US artist Steve Kurtz from Critical Arts Ensemble, involving boats, open seas and several guinea pigs and one rabbit on a raft. The work was produced by Arts Catalyst in London and has made it's grand tour around the galleries and cinemas from the Outer Hebrides to New York.

Christian Boltanski at the Tramway

Scott documented Christian Boltanski's visit to the Glasgow Tramway with a commisioned film on the construction of the artists 'Lost Property' work. Featuring interviews with Douglas Gordon and Nathan Coley.

Pigs Flying Pink

This 13 minute drama produced, shot and edited by Scott was the first film by theatre director Samir Menhanovic who went on to work with Scott and Minttu on subsequent dramas which won him the Scottish new talent Bafta. A brave and challenging film in which we developed some interesting new approaches to low budget production. There is something inherently exploitative about low budget fully crewed filmmaking but in 'Pigs' we tried an egalitarian approach to budget and working practices with fairness at its core.
