Visualising literature

Unesco City of Literature

In shooting the promo for Streetlane Productions to celebrate Edinburgh´s status as the first UNESCO City of Literature we wanted to isolate the written word within the context of a beautiful city.

All cinematography is a process of selecting the appropriate tools to tell the story most effectively. For this job we invested in a Letus extreme 35mm lens adapter to give a narrow depth of field and a film look to the 1080 HD image.

Scottish Book Trust Podcasts

We have given a few day-long workshops for the Scottish Book Trust as part of Adrian Mead's Screenlab, talking about visual narrative and visualising from script. This is why we were very happy to help to deliver Adrian's talks to a wider audience by shooting and editing a series of six podcasts for the Scottish Book Trust website (opens as an external link).

Bookfest

We also filmed and edited a pilot for Nap Productions for their effort to bring the Edinburgh International Book Festival to prime time broadcast audiences.
