Communication is at the heart of filmmaking and there is more to cinematography than intuition, the more we consider our craft the clearer the communication with our crew and clients.

We deliver an annual series of cinematography workshops for the directing students in the Film and TV department of Edinburgh College of Art. Scott has also taught at the New York Film Academy and Edinburgh's Napier University.

We've also written and delivered an innovative Visual Narrative workshop for the Scottish Book Trust as part of Adrian Mead's Screenlab for established professional writers moving into screenwriting.
